Before all the fans of Wholly Kaw go mental. This is just my opinion and first impressions. Plus you all should know by now what a fussy bugger I am.:blush:

First the scent. Its very odd. Its a familiar smell but I just can't place it. I do get a hint of....wait for it.....Germolene.:eek:

Performance: Easy to lather and very good slickness. Cushion and protection was good but not the best I've tried.

I personally think Saponificio Varesino and Eufros soaps performe better.
As I said this is just my opinion.

Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Hot shower:/Cien~ Green Kick Shower Gel & Shampoo.

Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.

Wilkinsons Fruits~ Coconut & Vanilla Body Butter.

Brush: Omega S10065 Synthetic.

Bowl Lather.

Soap : Monsavon .

Blade: Astra ~ Superior Stainless . (2)

Razor: Parker 48R .

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Post:

Alum Block./.Lemon+Peppermint Oil & Witch Hazel Mixture/Herbs Of Bulgaria ~ Lavender A/S.

Aloe Vera Gel.

Geoffrey Beene ~ Grey Flannel EDT.

The Astra Super Stainless blade has been the blade of the week ,yet again it matched superbly with my Parker 48R, smooth sharp & efficient, also the Monsavon soap performance & post shave feeling was magnificent.

resulting in another 3 pass + pickups DFS with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a splash of Herbs Of Bulgaria ~ Lavender A/S,and some squirts of Geoffrey Beene ~ Grey flannel EDT to the pulse points.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling very devine.;)

My Vitos is a few years old...so the scent has all but disappeared. The performance is as would be expected from Vitos. A few drops of Cade and Birch Tar gave a nice approximation of Texas on Fire:)

Two passes and a touchup for a fantastic feeling BBS shave:)

Not a great start to the morning.........the electric shower just refused to power up so a good old fashioned strip wash from the sink!
The soap used , Mysore Sandal Soap is wonderful, creamy with the most wonderful sandalwood scent, will be buying this again!

The shave was as expected.....nothing short of perfect! I have been using this razor kindly loaned to me by Wayne ( @Wayne Pritchard ) for some time and it seems to work with any blade and always gives outstanding shaves, if you have not tried one please do, you will love it. A close and smooth finnish with zero irritation.

A body spray of Opus 1870 and I'm good to go........
