Pre shave: Hot shower and Charcoal face wash
Razor: Gem Micromatic (Open Comb)
Blade: Gem SS #1
Brush: Maseto 26mm silvertip
Soap: WSP Sandalwood
Post: BBA Balm
EDT: Domenico Caraceni

Well that was terrific. A wonderful 3 pass shave with a few touch ups using my newly acquired Clog Pruf (open Comb) razor. Thank you @Blademonkey for sourcing it.
Not only is it a thing of beauty IMO but it has given me a superb BBS shave. More audible than its closed comb sibling and indeed more aggressive.

The soap was soon whipped up into an excellent slick, cushioned lather using the Maseto 26mm silvertip for face lathering.

Finishing off with BBA Balm and a generous splash of Domenico Caraceni I feel refreshed and good to go.

Enjoy your shaves!

Wayne :)

Pre: Musgo Real Lime Oil soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Semogue Owners Club Boar

Soap: Lea Classic (Tallow)
Razor: ATT M2
Blade: Gillette Spoiler (4)
Post: Myrsol Emulsion
EDC: Alvarez Gomez Barberia

A real Iberian vibe to tonight's shave. Fantastic performance from the Lea Classic soap in tallow guise.
Three passes - very comfortable and claret free, for a BBS result.
A simply great shave.

The Stealth Slant clone from Manly Stuff in Ireland shaves just as reviews of the Stealth suggest, almost disconcerting in its mildness, but very efficient. No trouble with the head shave's tricky stuff that foiled the Tech yesterday. I used an alternative handle that Sean at MS sent, a little shorter and lighter than stock but at 122g quite heavy enough thank you. Watch for sales but even at the regular price of €29 it's a sweet razor. Seen prices on Stealth Slants lately?

Tues 12th Sept
Omega 11126 boar
OSP Bay Rum
Schick I 1
Schick Twin ( 6 )
Alum Rub / Rinse off
Myrsol Antesol A/S lotion

Continued wth the use of a Twin Blade in the Schick I1, which is a lot easier to source than a Type N.

With a great lather from the OSP, the Shave could only go smoothly and again the Twin Blades really make it easy to get an Uber close all round Shave. Will need to check out my holdings of these blades and perhaps ration their use to specific Razors, so far the I1 & N are in the running. Strangely won't be in the M Adjustable as I am not fond of that Razor.

I've not posted for a couple of weeks as "real life" has recently taken over.
I had to say goodbye to my closest and loyal friend, Basher, my Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
He had an ongoing stomach problem that we were managing with medication for around eighteen months.
On the night of August 24th the poor boy took a turn for the worse. We took him to the vets the following day and the news wasn't good. We had to make the decision to let him go.
The void that is left in my life is enormous, and impossible to put in to words.
I need to try to get back to some normal semblance of life, so I've decided to start posting again.

Today's very trivial shave. . . . .

Thank you all for having me here and God bless you all and your furry family members.
Time will heal Paul. It's heartbreaking letting them go. Be well. S.

Thank you to all who have replied with kind messages of condolences.
Eighteen days since we were parted I feel as if I have had my heart ripped out and put through the mangle.
I could not consider owning another dog ever again, such was the bond I had with Basher. My wife feels the same on this matter too.
As mentioned by some of you kind people, I am sure that in the future I will be able to look back on my time with Basher with fondness, but for now all I feel is sorrow and loss.

Thank you all once again.

Pre Shave: Hot Shower + L'Oreal Pure Power Charcoal Face Wash and Proraso White
Razor: Razorock Hawk v1 with ManlyStuff.ie handle
Blade: Schick Proline (#2)
Brush: Vulfix 404
Soap: D.R. Harris Windsor
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Humphreys Witch Hazel
AS: Nivea Soothing Balm

Not shaved since Saturday due to a bout of man flu, last shave I only used the Hawk for the last pass so I was looking forward to today as the Hawk with the Schick Proline was excellent last time. Today was superb, I think this is now one of my favourite razor/blade combinations along with the Schick Adjustable with a twin blade. Today was 2 passes of very smooth shaving, I did manage 1 tiny nick, but that was due to me hurrying towards the end of the shave, and it stopped after a bit of an alum rub and some cold water.
