Some vintage Floris Verbena shaving soap sticks arrived today. When a couple wooden shave soap bowls that I ordered from Connaught arrive, I'll grate two of the soap sticks into one of them.

Not sure if it's a fake handle.
It might be a 2nd Gen Weber Handle. I'm sure I have had both once upon a time.

It's not an Aesop bowl, but for £1 from Tesco, I can't complain.

Ok. So my Ahem! wife's razor turned up today. It cost the Princely sum of 3 British pounds sterling. I was told it was small. Well I can confirm that is the case. It's as much use as a chocolate fire guard unless you are married to a Barbie Doll.
Oh well looks like it's back to the straight for the missus.

My wife is just back from New York and brought me a little goodie bag from Pasteur's Phamacy. She's no stranger to the wet shaving world but said she was speechless at the sheer amount of shaving stuff in one place. She only had ten minutes to look around and could only grab a few bits.

A full mail box today. Some shaving soap boxes from Connaught, a box of Acqua di Parma bath soaps, and a tube of vintage Floris No. 89 shaving cream.

I'm going to try lathering the AdP bath soap for shaving, perhaps in my polished stone-inlaid trinket box from Brazil...

Or in my Badger Whisperer mug.

Another nice surprise arrived. My Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet gift set. It was only £30. It is so wonderfully packaged. Looks the business.
