From what I have read on here and B&B it was made for France only. The seller claims it is unused. It's certainly in great condition but has some surface scratches on the silo doors. Absolutely no plating wear though.

The blades are still cellophane wrapped and they have what looks like a set of instructions or an advertising pamphlet inside.

Great find well done. Go easy with cutting polishes you could lose the gloss finish. Enjoy the age related patina of the box, the razor and contents look perfect.A set of pictorial instructions were also included with the set.

The case has a lot of fine scratches. Wondering if Brasso or T-Cut would improve it or make it worse (or melt it!)

Are those Personna hair shaper blades Dave?I’ve successfully used that blade (despined) in my vintage Wilkinson. Just need to shorten it a bit, the width is perfect and the shave excellent, they are surgical steel though so not surprising I guess. Alan

Surgical steel is just 316L stainless, pretty common stuff. Are those Personna hair shaper blades Dave?I’ve successfully used that blade (despined) in my vintage Wilkinson. Oh, I do hope so. Especially Forest Fresh as unlike Boot’s excellent Freshwood, this scent lasts quite well.I passed a Superdrug today, and saw the following.
I hope it is a sign they will restock their Forest Fresh and Sierran Breeze aftershaves.

Spot on for observation skills, Shubs. However, I always thought it was £2.99? Mind you, my thoughts are as muddy waters. Now there’s a bluesman for you. They are new price tags as well, it used to be £2.49 per bottle or 2 bottles for £4, so they have put up the price. If it had been discontinued, I can't see why they would print off labels for the price increase.
I hope it is a sign it will return!
