I have a vintage Coty Musk and a modern Jovan Musk. Apparently, these three form a trio of very alike scents with subtle differences.
The red lettering version of this Avon frag is the one to go for, according to folks in the know. The more modern versions are not as good.

Not shaving related... I ended up reading about a collection of WWII watches called the dirty dozen last week, I'd never heard of them but got fascinated by them, started looking around for tribute watches and came across a Belfast company called enoksen and ordered one from them. Arrived today and I'm quite taken with it...

I never really liked this scent in the past when I had a spray in some shop or other, but recently changed my view and absolutely loved it. So buy buy buy
The best bit for me though outside of the scent itself was the service I received from Allbeauty. I ordered at 10 last night and bugger me it arrived at 10 this morning. That is what I call great service.

I really want to try the OG Terre d'Hermes at some point. I have the Givrée one and I absolutely love it. Lots of citron!!!!

To me it comes over as a 'dirty orange' which is something I really like. The Banana Republic Neroli Woods is a similar sort of story and gave me the idea to try the Hermes again. This time it won my otherwise rancid heart.

A charity shop find. A (presume) vintage ish Yardley shaving soap which appears unused. Really don't know what to do with this as I won't use it, BST or Ebay? Unsure, but a nice find in many respects.....

Do you have any idea how old it might be? I did read they stopped shaving soaps around 1990 but that is all, and that by all means they were well respected at the time.
But I couldn't walk by it
