The Group Captain has just come back from Tesco with two Gillette Fusion ProGlide handles. They were half price so £10 for the two of them and they come with 2 cartridges each. Refills are £9 for 3. I know it's not much of a saving but it knocked 50p of the cost of each.

The new ProGlide gels were only £2 each too so she's got me one of each flavour.

Will be trying the gel out later in the week on my 'ead.

Not the face.

Not my beautiful face!

The cartridge must be perfect for the bonce Vinny. I understand.

The scalp skin is thicker and less sensitive and the hair is less course so you can scrape away like you are removing paint and it swivels so no problems with those hard to reach contours round the back. I get it but £20 for a few refills and a couple of handles? Bonkers at half the price.

I'd still use a D.E for my chops especially as you do one ATG pass daily. That means you can really shave with any old shit. ;) Admit it.

No problems with that equation Vinny, its probably been said before that many here (me included) would still get a decent shave with a multi blade, as the pre shave routine we have picked up along the way is what really makes the difference (Brush, decent soap or cream and what ever poncy  stuff we want to finish off with).

Sorry Bud, deleted my response ... while you were still typing, obviously.

Basically, Tony is right.

Sold the Burgman.
Which meant that once the bills had been paid and the tax man made happy that I actually had a few quid left - and regretting bitterly selling my Ikon, I bought this.
I even got as far as sending a PM asking if I could buy my old one back, but then decided that this one will be fine.
I think I need a little lie down in a darkened room.

My ebay splurge

A Rally dry shaver. I can't find out much about this. Still don't know where the blades go. Any help would be appreciated
