i just got my birth year razor - 1973 tech. very pleased with it as i remember my dad using one of these when i was young. plus, i got it at a great price.

Just got my Balck Beauty S1 - looks and feels lovely.
First go tomorrow. And with some of Nannys new soap too.
Big grins all round

Hell, yeah! Pre-shave with some simple and unadulterated olive oil and your shave will be just perfect. I gather the BBs are mild, so pick a blade which is a known good multi-pass for you.

Re new my Black Beauty - Incedibly mild is how I would describe it. Cheers for the tip. The Gillette green was ok for three pass - I need to play with settings the setting. I have an Astra in now because one was to hand.
Nice razor to hold thou hold. Still feeling pleased when I see it daft innit...
