Bodger?

Any opinions on a good bodger? Potentially I may get a Vulfix 404 or the Semogue 2012 SE ... which one though? Also, are there any others out there worth a look?

Chris.

Loads of horsey x badger in G&C

I had a Cyril R Salter bodger but it didn't get much use so traded it, a bit scratchy to my taste.

I have been thinking of getting a bodger as well.

I really like the look of the Semogue.
Is the knot really that much better than the Vulfix?

Would I be right in thinking there are two versions of the 404? On the Vulfix site it's best badger for approximately £41, whilst I find on the Shaving Shack it's a mix for £10.99. Is the mix not listed on the Vulfix site for some reason - or am I missing something (again)?

Here it is on Amazon, best 11 quid you will spend!

I'm off to wake up Zooey now!

How is the lettering applied to the handle, will it wear off? That's one of the points that put me off the Semogue in that it has a sticker on it.

I've not inspected mine that closely, but I think it's inked into an etching, certainly feels slightly rough. Should give it some longevity, though I'd not swear to that. The ink though was slightly lighter than i was expecting and the writing smaller. There's more writing round the back too, opposite side the 'the grosvenor', can't remember what it says though..
