cologne recommendations

I've found that Penhaligons and Floris are a step up in terms of complexity, naturalness and longevity; the extra outlay is justified IMHO.

For 'retro / old school' I also like the Musgo range, but longevity is only half as good as the Penhaligons / Floris.
 
One of my favourites - Comme de Garcon "Wonderwood". Pretty much like Cade in a bottle, but better. One with the strongest ambiance/staying power I've had too.
