Just took delivery of this Gem from the 50's...
Apparently been unused and in storage since the '50's, with only very slight scratch damage to the case only. Includes original pack of 5 Gem Duridium blades that were no longer made after the early 50's. I won't be using these but I'll be trying the razor out in my evening shave with a new Gem blade. I'm interested to find out how this compares to an Ever Ready 1912 I bought a few weeks ago. That was ok and certainly usable as a backup, but I'm hoping to find a good SE that provides a really comfortable shave without requiring expensive injector blades. I'll post a SOTD later if anyone's interested!
