Stefan Wolf at the Nassrasur forum still states that a first batch should be available in November. But he also predicts that it will be a small batch.

It could be a sales tactic to whip everyone into a buying frenzy once released, talk of small batches ect buy buy buy!!!

I thought the same thing until I considered the cost of making the tools and dyes required for the manufacturing. No "small batch" could recoup the investment; and Muhle is too reputable to mess around with its customers.

It doesn't have to be a small batch just talk of small numbers to get people into a buying frenzy and let it snowball, people who may have hung back for the first reviews would now just throw the cash down wanting to get one.......but Muhle wouldn't do that, would they!

Probably me being cynical , I'm sure everything will be just fine , enough for everyone, with no underhanded sales tactics going on!

Everything we're saying on this thread is conjecture. I'm putting my faith in the Muhle brothers. I just wish someone would announce something!

Stefan claims it's not (and as a reseller, he probably has the same info as other, German, resellers) and that the batch sizes is limited by current production capacity.

I've never been excited about a new razor's debut until now. The R89 and R41 are the staples in 90% of our dens, and I'm sure the R96 is going to join them. I wonder if Muhle are listed on the stock exchanges?
