News papers anyone?

Havent read newspapers for years. Last time I did there was an overpaid footballer on the front page grabbing all the headlines. The next 5 pages were full of people being raped and killed, war, death and destruction. That was when I decided they arent really there to report "NEWS" Just whatever shite they think will sell the most.

I now get what I want from the internet, although I do buy the local paper occasionally.

I agree with Daz, sadly even the BBC has gone down the lowest common denominator route to get higher ratings - even their news TV programmes have just turned into middle class Jeremy Kyle.

I usually browse over the online editions of the TIG and usually find the public commentary a bit more revealing than the articles themselves. The problem is the time difference, online editions come out the previous evening giving every nutter across the pond a chance to have their say.
