Pants!

As I mentioned in another thread (the Lilac Veg thread, I think) my Mum still buys mine.

No, seriously, every Christmas she buys me and my brother a years supply of pants and sock, bless her.

Ian

My mum still buys me socks every Crimbo but she stopped buying me pants in my 30's.

Pants are just one of those things you have to buy a pair and try aren't they? It's a shame that the more expensive options don't have a try before you buy option, if I knew that fit and quality were up to scratch I'd have no (well 'less' would be more honest) problem paying £30 for a pair.
Perhaps if George's recovery ever reaches the Undolpho household I'll trial a pair.

Lonsdale's are rubbish by the way.

Had a quick butchers at Sunspel and have managed to restore myself with some smelling salts. £30 for a pair of kegs!

Yes. Ironically, I looked at the Sunspel prices and was so shocked that I found myself almost needing to change the ones that I was wearing.

Ian

Glad I'm not the only one to get a shock. Then again I tend to buy the trunk-style briefs from Top Man or M&S - less than a tenner a pant.

I have a 7 day set of these in my basket http://www.sunspel.com/uk/mens/underwear/sea-island-brief.html

Anyone know if their wind proof before I pull the trigger ;)

I'm on the hunt for new pants. I tend to do a bulk buy when the sales are on. I looking for snug boxers that are comfortable. £30 a pair is more than I'm prepared to pay.

Please report back your final choice.

Sunspel have sales each season.

If you're really, really fat or as thin as a 10 year old girl, you might be able to pick em up for £12.50 a pair.

I'll go on a diet - which way though? Lard or lentils?

Sunspel briefs in Egyptian cotton - all day, every day.

Wouldn't buy anything else.

Corgi socks for casual wear with brogues, Pantherella for work / formal.

Which ones?

Plain, black, briefs. Like y-fronts.

I'm just about to finish my Calvin Klein Obsession suggested by Vinnie so I'll pop up to a stockist in Winchester on the Guzzi soon to take a look at these:

Then I'll wait 'till she asks for a Father's Day idea. That'll teach her.

Last year Sunspel had a factory sale with prices significantly discounted. At a guess they're likely to do it again this year. It's in Long Eaton, Notts. If you sign up for the newsletter it'll be announced through that. Plus they email out discount codes quite often.

Sunspel trollies. I like mix from trad boxers to Y's, depending on the amount of containment required. All cotton. I keep all synthetics for sports activities.
I have tried corgi and pantherella socks but the sizing is too broad. My top tip would be sized socks. Falke are my faves.

My recommendation: http://www.aussiebum.com/underwear

Free international shipping, and if you keep the order below £15 you won't get stung for tax.
If you keep an eye on the sales page you can get some good deals as well.
