Good review.
It's pretty easy. Takes only a few seconds. Is the removal of the spine on the gem blades pretty straight forward?
Are there others? I've only tried it on the Pesonna GEM blades.Thanks. Is it just the Gem blades or any SE?

I got the spine off ok, but I can't them locked into the oneblade at all, just rests on the front stops
I just use some pliers, grab the spine and wiggle the blade up and down. I just realised that the process is reversible. The de-spined GEM that was in the OneBlade this morning is now re-spined and waiting for tomorrow morning in a 1912
You don't need to use a heavy overkill tool to remove the spine...All you need to Do is slip a small screw driver or knife under one corner to prise it a bit an then pull it off...

Yeah, that would be good.
I did say de-spining is not for everyoneVery useful thanks DB. Of course, I need to wait for the gash on my thumb to heal when I removed the spine - seriously, I don't know how I manage to shave seeing as I only have to look at a blade and I seem to cause a cut somewhere about my person.
Not for every Thumb you mean...I did say de-spining is not for everyone
