Razor clean up?

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned vinegar..

Vinegar is cheap, and it's what I use for most cleaning, I use in a 30/70 ratio with hot water, then use a toothbrush.

I did a topic on cleaning them a while back..

I did this at the weekend:

1. A fairly strong vinegar bath
2. Soak in hot soapy water
3. Scrub with toothpaste (with baking soda) and fairly soft brush
4. Soak in hot soapy water
5. Rinse in warm water and towel dry
6. Fairly vigorous polish with Peek (repeated if necessary)

I'm sure a few steps were unnecessary but everything came up crud-free and gleaming!

New to this but would an ultrasonic cleaner do the job as well. I have seen Maplins have one for around £30. (Quite a lot but then I will be buying more than a few razors so it might pay off in the long run).

Now that you've pampered yourself, why not try that on a razor? :icon_razz:
