Reccomend me a watch for work

After looking thru the watch tread it got me interested in looking for a cheep watch for work. My good watch is fossil that I got for my 30th , but would like something for knocking about in DIY and when I'm doing the crap jobs at work.
Think I like the look of the military type watches with the NATO straps? Or a g shock? What kind of prices should I be expecting? Cheers

If I was blowing £40 on a watch I wouldn't complain about this one:

Really hard guys like Vinny & poseurs like me wear G Shock . Mine is a "retro" solar version which reminds me of the original G Shock I had back in the 1980s and was the 1st watch I owned which survived anything up to 16 hours a day on operational motorcycle usage. Water & shock resistant, looks smart, resets its time every 24 hours for accuracy, what's not to like for under £100.

Absolutely. My first thought too.

I had the Seiko 5 in green from Amazon for around £45, it was a good little work watch. Sadly I didn't check my pockets before putting my laundry in. It didn't survive the boil wash in an industrial washing machine followed by a stint in the tumble drier on its highest setting. I'm definitely thinking about replacing it like for like though.

I have a Citizen Military Style that survived a 40 degree wash, not a mark on it and not a drop of moisture inside.

Creation have a few Seiko 5 in at that price. Don't worry about purchasing from them via Singapore. They are an excellent company to deal with, great prices and free shipping. Last time I ordered on Bank Holiday Monday. It flew out of Singapore on the Thursday and delivered on the Friday. DHL's tracking is excellent too. No connection to them, I think it was OrangeSport who put me on to them.
