I've been involved in a double-blind blade test for a month now. My assistant is away, so I've had to use a tried-and-true Gillette 7OC SharpEdge Yellow -- first blade wrapper I've seen since 2014. Third and last shave with the blade today. Was up all night and had a rushed three pass shave today.

Pure virgin hemp oil (yup, I'm in Colorado, USA for January)

Prep- Hot towel
Soap- Stirling Rose
Brush- Muhle V2
Razor- Valet VC4
Blade- Feather [4]
Post- Trumpers Skinfood

Class shave, really smooth. I think the Stirling soaps are underrated for some reason ( perhaps lack of quality packaging?) the soaps have great scents and the soap performs great with a slick, cushioning lather; the soap is easy to build with a synthetic brush.

Thank Tabac it's Friday!

Prep: Hot shower
Pre: Noxzema cleansing cream
Soap: Tabac
Bowl: Woodhead Large Tall Scuttle
Brush: Vie-Long Horse Hair 13061M
Razor: Gillette Aristocrat #66
Blade: Rapira SS (1)
After: Tabac AS, Tabac ASB

The only way I can turn the TTO mechanism on this razor is to heat up the end of the handle in boiling water. So, I managed to get a blade in before it seized up again.
This is supposed to be a mild razor but I would place it about medium. Nice shaver and resulted in a easy DFS, no irritation at all.

Have a great weekend folks.
