It is something to look at isn't it? It is the Vanille in it. It can also temporarily stain the tips of treated badger hair, so keep that in mind. It takes a few uses to come out, or a vinegar rinse will kill it.

I believe Lavanille is the only other of their soaps like that. The scent of that one is worth any temporary colorations of my brush.

Brush: Semogue Owners Club Boar
Razor: Gibbs Adjustable No 17 w/ Supermax Super Platinum (3)
Soap: Valobra Cologne
Post: Marks and Spencer Collezione Classic

More or less the same again today, really like this soap. The scent isn't anything special but it is pleasant and neutral. The Gibbs is fast becoming my daily driver, used setting N for the third time but I think tomorrow I will try it at the highest setting just to see how it feels.

+ 1 on the Old Spice Aftershave & the Rapira Swedish Supersteel blades , i find they work superbly in non-aggressive razors, as do the Voshkod Teflon coated..wonderful shave set up.

Fri 17th March
RazoRock Plissoft 24mm
Faena Sandalwood
PAL Golden Injecto-Matic
Schick S/S Single [ 11-japan ]
Alum Rub/Rinse off
Tuff Green A/S Lotion

This little "Schick - Buster" when combined with the Japanese blade, is transformed into a very smooth/ comfortable but still efficient Razor. With a lovely lather from the soap, and despite the blade being on its 11th outing, I got another high quality close finish.

Glad I can use this Razor to good effect, and coupled with the Japanese blade am getting shaves as good as those I get , with the likes of the Claymore and General, which use the AC type blades.
