Having had 10 V.Good Shaves with the Injecto-Matic/ Japanese Schick , had to follow up with the PAL S/S Adjustable.
Fortunately already have one loaded with the Japanese Schick.

Whilst the Shave was nice and smooth, perhaps I did not concentrate on polishing up enough, but the overall shave finish was not as good as those attained with the Injecto-Matic. As this is not the norm, must have a few further Shaves to determine the pecking order between two of my favourite Vintage Injectors. Also need to try out the E2
with this blade.

Yeah, thanks. Nicely broken in but the knot's a bit loose. Same with my 820...

Maybe try prising it out and re sticking? I know people use 2 part epoxy, but I've also had good results using a hot glue gun - just don't fire too much in the handle so it doesn't 'squirt' out the top when you put the knot in.

Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: hot shower:/Cien: “Sport” shower gel & Shampoo/ warm wet flannel to my face.

Pre:

3 Drops of Wilkinsons Shaving Oil: / Fruits: Rhubarb & Vanilla Body Butter.

Brush: Semogue 1305.

Face Lather.

Soap : Wilkinson Sword Soap Bowl.

Blade: Sputnik. (1)

Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic.

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Post:

Lavender oil & Witch Hazel Mixture./4711 A/S.

Morrisons moisture Lotion.

After yesterday's drama with the erasmic shave stick,today's shave was a100% improvement.A nice easy mild 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.I now know how to get the best out of the Wilkinson sword soap bowl, a good 2-3 minute mix with a fairly wet brush, which create's a excellent lather that doesn't dissipate and enough for 3 passes + pick ups if needed. I won't give up on the Erasmic soap & cream because it normally is a excellent performer, i'll give a new soap bowl a try out soon and see if my faith will be restored.
My face feels smooth & refreshed, i'm ready for what sunday has to offer.Enjoy what's left of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

Thank you, it's my Sunday ritual, I've only got two pucks of the soap so only use once a week, the same with the vintage OS Aftershave.
Yes it is a Shavemac, my two band silvertip .

It doesn't really bother me but when it does, I'll epoxy it in again...
