After an off colour week, this was a nice treat. It seemed that by adding a shim to the blade, the smoothness of the shave was enhanced, but still felt that the razor might bite if one lost concentration. The end result was very pleasing.

I roll out this lovely 1930's fat-handle Tech with its heavier, flat bottom plate every so often. I find it doesn't quite give me the results of a modern razor like the Merkur 34HD but if it was all I had, I'd be happy enough especially when paired with a fantastic NOS English Wilkie. Fabulous blades and thanks again to Carl for the kind gift. :D

An all British shave except from the Italian knot in the handle I carved myself.

Wow! Wow wow wow! Super shave this morning, probably the best shave this week. I've used Seifenglatt soaps before so I new to expect good results but this lather was other-worldly. Normally veggie soaps dry my skin out but not this one. Thick, rich, fragrant lather with superior cushion and glide. The Weber becomes ninja-like with a feather blade and a super whisker-whacker.

First go with the Fine Platinum, I know it is suppose to be a Creed copy scent but the dry down is a dead ringer for A&F Fierce. Fierce does have the strong citrusy/fruity opening of the Fine. It does have a bit just not as strong. It also has a very similar vibe as Adidas Dynamic Pulse but the Adidas is more synthetic smelling.
