SOTD
ATT S2/ATT R1
Wilkinson classic(#3)
Semogue 610
Vitos red
Cold water rinse, DR Harris Bay Rum, Argan oil
A tricky shave today having lost movement in my arm following a 'little' accident at work last week but eight days growth is more than I can handle... First pass with the S2 but my hand/razor pressure was all over the place so switched to the R1 which made things easier. Not too bad a shave really...:)

Hi Michael, Sorry to hear of accident. Get well soon and take it easy.
Hopefully you'll be on the mend in time to carve the turkey.:p
Have great Christmas champ.
Cheers
Rob

Cracking looking brush Skinny, can you tell me more about it?

No problem at all.

The handle is made my a gentleman named Jeff Huck.

It's incredible with woods and his tooling and detail are second to none.

If I'm remembering correctly this one is Satin burl but I may be wrong.

Believe me his work looks better in person. My iPhone pictures don't do it justice.

Pre Shave: Hot Shower and Proraso Red
Razor: Ikon X3 + OSS Handle
Blade: Tiger Superior Stainless (#2)
Brush: Hans Baier Silver tip
Soap: Tabac
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Thayers unscented
AS: 4711 lotion + Nivea Replenishing Balm

First shave with the Ikon X3, it was very good but not as close as I thought it might be in places, I suspect that was down to taking it very gently as I have never tried a slant before. The shave was smooth and irritation free and I am looking forward to trying the X3 with some of my regular blade choices in the future.

Georgetown Pottery G20 scuttle
Rooney 3/2 Ebony Finest (24mm/62mm)
Eufros Premium Ylang Ylang shaving soap sample
Delta Echo Feather AS-D2/Stork Titanium Aristocrat 2
Super-Max Super Platinum Tiger (2)
Houbigant Yama aftershave (vintage)

An excellent shave. The soap has a rich, sweet, floral scent, and it easily made very good lather. The Stork razor handle is beautiful and very light and comfortable.

Death Match Shake Sharp v1 vs Shake Sharp v2. The Bakelite v1 is equipped with two stacked Permasharp blades, the chrome v2 with one. Winner is the more aggressive hacked Bakelite, delivering BBS without any irritation on the head shave where the v2 does produce a little. The hinged cap on the v2 does not fit as securely as the pressure fit hacked v1 which may well account for the difference.

Get well soon! No turkish barber shops around who could remove the stubble for you? Or shave with the other arm?

22.12....Had to use the Fatip Piccolo again today for an evening shave.

Well, it is actually pretty aggressive blade feel/scraping wise. Feels much worse wthan the Progress with simliar closeness.

Sputnik (3)
Omega Proraso brush
Maca Root Cream
Mennen Skin Bracer (US) AS
Proraso sensitive ASB (didnt make things better)
