Well lathered & taking time, achieved a very mediocre shave , in the same time as a SE shave would take. Razor performed better when in fixed head mode,rather than floating.Will keep this fore dire emergency when travelling by air.

Continuing on the F Train crazy ride....so easy to get hooked on this thing and never use anything else for many days inna row.

Fun shaving with the Klar again. Good change of pace from the Coates rose cream I had been reaching for.

The profs soap is really very good. Feels very protective. Happy with the Lab Blue performance, gets close and feels smooth and had 4 shaves out of it with no sign of giving up yet. Just received 100 from salon supplies in white wrappers so hope they're as good.

Post: Thayer's witch hazel, followed by Krampert's Bay Rum
This ERN is still VERY sharp. Gave it 20 licks on the Westholme cordovan and rewarded with a smoooooth first pass. Cleaned up with the Aristocrat for a 2-pass BBS. Man I love this Kramperts!
 
Erik, I saw that recent Aristo acquisition and meant to comment, except I was too sad. Yep, you don't see those very often and I had one myself a while back. Original metal case in ok shape.

This one needed a replate but shaved fine. Had it done and there were a few marks left from the buffing or polishing or something when it was returned. Anyway, the gold plating was nice but not perfect. He offered to take a look and make things right if needed but I was disgusted and never bothered. Sigh, ended up selling it on ebay at a loss. Nice eh?

Heh, missingchin used the same guy on his Toggle replate with mixed results.
