Very much enjoyed!

tubby 2
Wickham Co soap - English Rose Super soft
Bond Fresh a/s
Posilver SI 2

very satisfying shave - soap performed superbly and the scent is great. The tubby felt too big at first but really, you've just got to enjoy the luxury of it :) The futur is providing really close shaves - i think the weight helps - and is a thing of beauty

Four different razors on four consecutive days reminded me that my old Tech is just right for me. Three were too aggressive and one even more mild than the Tech. These were the four "Eastern Europeans" from BST - so it was a great value way of trying diferent razors.

Prep: Shower
Razor: Joseph Elliot 6/8ths
Strop: Neil Miller
Brush: Semogue OC SE 2012 Mixed
Soap: Tabac Stick Grated
Aftershave: Astral cream (light)

Everything was going along just swimmingly and then... a wrong angle on the chin and whack; a good nick!

The plus side, no mole damage, I don't want to speak too soon but I might just have learnt how to shave over them.

I am now getting a very presentable shave in terms of closeness, not perfect but good enough to go to work (were I not retired) and I have felt no need to touch up with an SE. If only I could do away with the collateral damage.

Regards
Dick.

Prep: Hot shower
Pre: Proraso pre-shave - sensitive
Soap: Wickham Super Smooth Sandalwood (sample)
Bowl: Woodhead Pedestal
Brush: Omega boar 10005
Razor: ATT R2 Kronos
Blade: Gillette Rubie Plat+ (2)
After: Old Spice AS, Coral Skin Food ASB

First try with Darron's new sandalwood scented soft soap. Opened up the container and got a faint wiff of sandalwood, ominous.
The hardware are all my top performers so I gave this soap an easy ride today. I used an almond sized scoop of the soap and bowl lathered. From my experience this is more than enough product but I wanted to make sure I got enough of the scent. Lather was enormous as expected, enough for two shaves.
However the scent was nonexistent, which was a disappointment. I tried seeking out the scent, stuck my nose in the bowl but just couldn't get any.

Results were extremely good due to both great software and hardware and ended with a lovely BBS.

Great Super Smooth soap Darron, but did you forget to add sandalwood?

Have a great Sunday, folks.

I've been lucky enough to purchase this handle to a fellow of a spanish forum. Rafael only made two prototypes of Red Kong, and two more of Red Kong DeLuxe, and I could get it from the hands of its owner. It is a handle that Rafel does not want to make more due to technical problems, at the moment, so I'm lucky to be able to treasure it. The Red Kong has two knurling passes, and the Red Kong DeLuxe, has three. I had thought to offer it to any of the friends who regularly ask me for it, but I can not part with this beauty. I'll keep it in my shaving arsenal. I have used it with the golden Fatip, and it is wonderful. This old blade BIC and this great brush with 30mm Finest knot, have made the most excellent soap from Manuel, and Swiss Pitralon finished off the job brilliantly.
