Pre: King of shaves oil
Razor: Fatip with Blackbird handle
Razor blade: Gillette 7 o'clock Stainless Steel
Brush: shavemac snowman 2 Band.
Soap: Eufros Fougère
Post: Thayers witch hazel and Myrsol emulsion

OK so what did I think if the soap....

I don't think I need to add to the hype train but it's very, very good.
The razor just glides across with ease and loads of protection.
I thought the scent was strong enough (for me), on par with SV soaps.

Some of you may be aware I've been struggling to get a decent shave for a while. Well I safely say this was the best shave I've had for months.

A complete Change from SE/ Injectors, dug out the Futur.Lucky I got used its weight in my return to DE shaving, so a Change from the Supply was not a problem
Had a nice quick but smooth shave, prior to an 8 o'clock start to N London round the M 25.

My Sunday shave -

Pre-shave - warm shower, Wright's cold-tar soap and Proraso pre-shave cream (Green).
Razor - Muhle Rocca R96.
Blade - Astra (green) SP (day 1).
Soap - Proraso Eucalyptus & Menthol Soft Shaving Soap.
Brush - Simpsons Duke 2.
Post shave - Proraso Aftershave Splash, Menthol and Eucalyptus.

Very enjoyable shave.

Decided to limit myself to a one pass shave, as I wanted to give my skin a little rest.

Monday morning touch-up:
Some hot water after a brisk, damp walk with the dog.
Phoenix & Beau Sanskrit.
Body Shop synth.
Niazi Solingen 5/8, half-hollow, circa 1908.
Alum. Luke-warm then cold water.
Cheap moisturiser.
Antonio Puig Quorum Silver EDT.

A very comfortable touch-up, resulting in not-particularly-smooth cheeks and neck. However, I look clean and smell clean and I have no irritation of any description. Removed a fair amount of hair despite this. Alum didn't bite at all. Another pass and I'd probably be smooth to the touch, but didn't want to push it.

I'll repeat this combination during the week and will post a photo next time - please scold me if I don't.
