Greetings

Saturday 3rd January 2015
Prep: Shower
Razor: Henckels Friodur 5/8 Stainless
Brush: Semogue Mistura
Soap: Palmolive Sitck Grated
Aftershave: Astral Cream (light)
EDT: Tom Ford Extreme

A much closer straight shave (by my novice standards) I 'tuned up' this razor with 50 laps on chromox balsa 50 on feox balsa and 50 on newspaper wrapped tightly around the chromox balsa strop, it certainly seemed to work well for me. I then stropped on latigo and English bridle to finish.

Regards
Dick.

Cibe Uomo Crema Da Barba Mandorla Amara
Rooney Style One
Superspeed
Personna Lab Blue
Kiehls Ultimate Balm
Aramis Tuscany

I'm really enjoying the Mandorla Amara soap Secret Santa sent. The sweet almond scent is fantastic and it lathers a treat. Lovely three pass shave, topped of with the Kiehls and SWMBO's excellent choice of Tuscany. All ready now for visitors.

Prep: Hot shower
Pre: Proraso pre-shave - sensitive
Soap: NSS Down Home Summer (original)
Bowl: Woodhead Pedestal
Brush: L'Occitane synthetic
Razor: ATT R1 + templ8 100mm handle
Blade: Rapira SS (4)
After: S.M.Novella pomegranate AS, Calvin Klein Eternity ASB

Oh no, I'm seeing the bottom of the soap tub. Need to get the Signature version to replace it when my other NSS soaps have been used up some.

Great lather today with NSS - I've found using a bigger splodge of the soap than usual and a synthetic brush really helps this soap explode. I'm actually getting like this L'Occitane brush more each time I use it.

First two shaves with this Rapira blade were too sharp/close. Now its fourth use it was so smooth and still sharp. BBS results. Not going to push it to 5 shaves though.

Have a great weekend folks.

Another cracking shave with the PAL, if you take your time with small gentle strokes, you are rewarding with a nice shave that is different from DE.
