I was gifted kool monsoon a few weeks ago. Quite a disappointment - artificial lemon/lime somewhere between flavouring and washing-up liquid. Think of Derby Lemon, and replace Turkey for Bangladesh. Voskhod is gradually becoming a favourite. Two passes WTG, XTG. Below average shave.
 
My first shave of 2015 and as good as they come!

Prep - Shower / Woods Of Windsor Cedar Woods soap / Pre-lather / 3 min steam towel
Razor - Gillette Fat Handled Tech
Blade - Feather Hi-Stainless (#1)
Brush - Omega 20106
Soap - Palmolive Stick / Glycerine
After - Frozen towel / Alum / Witch Hazel
Result - BBS

First for Palmolive soap with glycerine added, which made quite a difference. Always liked the scent but found it drying. Never tried a Feather in the Fat Handled Tech before and it was simply as smooth and comfortable a shave as is possible.

Changed to 1912,as blade pulling after 4 on 1924. Nice Comfortable shave, definitely
the 1924 ,if close shave required.

A top drawer shave after my second 5k of 2015. The first, on New Years Day, was an atrocious 34.41. Today was 28.26. Several years ago, when I was very fit and playing competitive sport, I used to regularly clock sub-20. I'd like to get back to that...

Otherwise, I noted three things about this shave:
1. MdC is epic - 10s of loading and brilliant lather for several passes if I wanted
2. I've finished my bottle of Diptyque Tam Dap edt. I like it and will sample the edp
3. This No7 balm from Boots is by far the best balm I've come across.
