Using same soap etc, the MMOC on blade use 4, delivered a really good shave beat CP
hands down. Have used the OC a few times now, no problems at all,provided treated
with respect. Was a bit afraid of the Open Comb aspect of the Razor, but now like it a lot.

This was my first shave with a Sticky. I'd heard that they were a bit toothless, but I found it gave a smooth and comfortable shave - similar to a Gillette Slim Adjustable on setting 5 or 6.

Great shave, one nick owing to carelessness, feeling nice and smooth!

Prep: Quick wash with dove soap.
Soap: Stirling Spice.
Brush: Vie-Long horse.
Razor: EJDE89.
Blade: Crystal SS.
Post: M&S Woodspice balm.

Thank God th EJ is a forgiving razor, for some reason today I just couldnt pull myself round, checked blood sugar levels but were fine.
2 pass WTG & ATG with the EJ and a very sociable shave despite the hangover type funk I seem to be in.

Started off this morning with a fresh Bic Chrome blade in the Weber. Not sure if it was a duff blade or the two should never meet, but I won't be pairing them together again! Swapped the blade out after 3 strokes, Polsilver never seems to disappoint - miles apart.

Valobra, probably my most treasured soap, paired with one of my favourite blades offered an excellent shave. Very pleased with the result today :)

First time trying BBR Pre-shave oil and I approve. To be honest though, if you're buying it, a small amount of coconut oil or similar does the job of making the razor glide better.
Also a first for a modern DE, before it moves to pastures new. I've convinced two friends in the last couple of months to go traditional. They are my first and it feels good!

Really don't know what it is but I just cannot get a consistent comfortable shave from an injector. Lovely and smooth today, but the alum stung! Are injectors generally less forgiving with the stiffer blade?
DFS but I can get better, more comfortable results with DE.

Post: Thayer's witch hazel, followed by ABC "Tabacco Verde" balm & Tabac EdT
Man! For as cheap as Tabac is, the lather is dynamite! Especially with a synthetic brush like this TGN knot. Gobs of creamy slick lather!
