Apparently, there are nearby hamlets called, ‘Oberfucking’ and ‘Unterfucking’.

I've been there, and Wank in Bavaria. And Condom in France, where I actually got a mate to stand next to the sign as proof. It's not that I've been on a tour of rude place names, but I've certainly come across a few in my travels. Mostly while motorbike touring, where back roads and detours for the heck of it make more sense than autobahn.

My wife had me stand by a sign in North Wales for a photograph. It was Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch,
but that isn't funny, is it?

Our regional Team Foil Fencing competition is held in Penistone. I thought I had a picture somewhere of our team (three of us) doing the three wise monkeys in front of the sign ... needless to say, blocking out the last part of the word.

You remind me of a really funny bit in Goodies in Wales. They get on a train, the station sign says Llan. The train moves, and when the sign reads ogogoch they get off as it's their stop.
Oh yes, the wife took the photo from the other side of the road.
