My wife had me stand by a sign in North Wales for a photograph. It was Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch,I've been there, and Wank in Bavaria. And Condom in France, where I actually got a mate to stand next to the sign as proof. It's not that I've been on a tour of rude place names, but I've certainly come across a few in my travels. Mostly while motorbike touring, where back roads and detours for the heck of it make more sense than autobahn.

It is if she now calls you a "silly ogogoch" at the slightest provocation! How much of that sign fitted in the picture? My wife had me stand by a sign in North Wales for a photograph. It was Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch,
but that isn't funny, is it?
I know. I posted the same photo days ago. See Welsh Sign in this forum. Your link gives me a blank page. The Welsh says "I am not in the office at the moment. Send any work to be translated."
You remind me of a really funny bit in Goodies in Wales. They get on a train, the station sign says Llan. The train moves, and when the sign reads ogogoch they get off as it's their stop.It is if she now calls you a "silly ogogoch" at the slightest provocation! How much of that sign fitted in the picture?
