Simpson's Chubby 3 Shaving Brush in Manchurian Badger

I understand they were made specifically for Charles Robert's of Enchante and used a particular type of mountain badger hair and that is no longer available. They labelled it "extra super" and it wasn't necessarily two band either.

I find it difficult to ignore the Roberts BS factor but whenever I've seen a picture of a good example the hair does look to be outstanding quality.

Ah, Charles Roberts.

The ridiculous price and general w**k-fest on US-centric boards makes more sense to me now.

That´s how they picked them, as I got it described to me, they took the brushes with extra ordinary quality of hair and loft - then they became "Manchurians"!?
