When I close the doors it feels as if I can tighten the twist further. Do I tighten it all the way home or just until the doors close?

On almost every Gillette adjustable there's an extra 1/4 turn that will lock the blade in place after the TTO is a bit snugged down.

On almost every Gillette adjustable there's an extra 1/4 turn that will lock the blade in place after the TTO is a bit snugged down.

The lock is necessary to prevent the silo doors from opening while shaving. That can cause a cut so be sure to turn it down that extra quarter turn.
