Have a nice day!

Saturday

Gillette face wash
Proraso pre
Palmolive stick face lathered
Semogue 620 brush
EJ DJ87
Gillette rubie blade
Witch hazel
Simple moisturiser
ck be scent

First time I have used the Gillette Rubie blade as slowly working my way through the sampler pack from UNITA77 another good blade this certainly on a pa with he Sputnik blade
Just off for a trawl around Norwich to see what I can find locally

Have a good day

Tobs shaving shop cream
Henk walnut silvertip
Slim Twist with Rapira Swedish Super Steel
SFH Lemon and Cedarwood a/s gel

For some reason got a lot of irritation. Face is itchy and sore. Have used everything here before. Suspect blade has dulled early in a humid environment and got the angle wrong on the Slim Twist

EJ89 Barley
Astra SP
Ingrams
Mr Taylor's AS
Astral
Mr Taylor's Cologne

Very good shave and delighted to be using Ingrams after the RSC yesterday.

GFT almond soap
Vulfix Bodger
Gillette Sensor 3
Barbershop Bay Rum
RSC balm

I was pretty meh about this soap until I cut my rotation to just this and a cream. The increased familiarity must help. Getting some real lather bombs out of it now, enough for 2 shaves this morning, quality slick lather. Switched to the Sensor for a few shaves to finish off a blade that's been in it a couple of months. Gives a nice comfortable DFS, though I don't get as close as with a DE. That's 5 or 6 shaves with the blade now, it's dulling, but perhaps another couple of shaves or so in it.

Warm shower
Hot flannel
Palmolive stick grated and scuttle lathered
Simpson 59 best badger brush
Gillette Aristocrat adjustable set at 5
Polsilver super iridium (1)
Cold rinse
Witch hazel
Myrsol lemon aftershave

Comfortable, clean shave. First time with a vintage adjustable I set it to 5, I will go up to 6 tomorrow. I'm not a big gold fan but the Aristocrat is quite nice looking to me and a good shave. The Polsilver as always a good sharp blade and irritation free.

Saturday:

Mitchell's Wool Fat
Semogue SOC Boar
#15 Aristocrat
Gillette 7 o'clock SharpEdge
Witch Hazel
Professor Blighty's Green Ginger AS
Nivea Cool Kick ASB

Nice shave, a couple of weepers but nothing serious.

Post: Hot shower
Brush: M&F blond badger
Razor: W Söderén
Soap: Arko (cream and soap)
AS: Lavanda
Strops: Neil Miller
Result: Very, very clean

Well, I got a nice gift from Australia and I want to say "thank you" to my Aussie mate Carl ... I think (I use it as a purse for coins). I really like the shape of this razor, totally non Swedish in it's design, but this maker used to like to make them not like other Swedish brands razors

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

vintage rebranded Simpsons best
Schick M type adjustable injector/Gillette Twinjector blade (NOS)
Dr Dittmar Spezial Raiserseife SS (very nice.....reminds me of the Moos)
Dr. Ci:Labo Aqua-Collagen-Gel
Roger and Gallet L'Homme 'Sport EdT

Five nice shaves with this blade. I'll be looking for more of these.

BBS results,

Martin
