Am on the late shift this week so have managed to get some morning shaves in.

Really important I don't nick myself (as I essentially shave then vanish out of the door) so needed a reliable combo. The above delivered a top drawer, safe shave.

Fragrance: Knize Forest Toilet Water

Result: All good. What a menthol hit the Alt-Innsbruck delivers. Wonderful.

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

1964 Macys rebranded silvertip flopmeister good with creams
Schick M type injector/Schick Plus Platinum (1990 NOS)
XPEC SC
Malizia Vetyver AS and more splashed on like cologne

For a long time this was my favorite injector but over a year ago I put it down in favor of the F type. It called to me 3-4 says ago and that's what's been used recently.

This blade doesn't have all that much of a forgiving nature and it took me a few shaves (and a few red spots) to accept that one less number setting than usual was best with these old things. Nice having that option.

Great handle on the M.....feels good in my hand and is a decent length. Had some nice shaves with thiis set up.

Not a bad DFS, having trouble working the Tabula though. May be life is too short for soaps that take thought and practice!
