A very good Sunday morning shave. First shave with the stainless steel Hawk, which gave me a smooth and close shave, a much nicer shave than the aluminium Hawk v2.

Single Edged October - the team!

Welcome back - you lovely subscribers! First off - I'd like to apologise, most sincerely and without liability, my lawyers would have me add - for the 'wardrobe malfunction' last episode. What can I say!! Hey - that towel is glued in place now!!! I'm taking my medication properly and doctor advises me it shouldn't happen again. There's a link below for anyone seeking help having been affected by issues raised.

Okay beautiful shavers - let's shave!!! Have you pre-soaked your goatee? Prep is everything! Especially on the bit you aren't going to shave!!!

Big shout out to the first day of Single Edge October!! Yayyy!! A month of AC and injector porn ahoy!! Are Personna blade dispensers the worst ever made? Is the Timeless GEM razor forged from Mithral steel? It fckuing should be at the price!! Is there a single original design feature in the Excalibur???? The answers, possums - to these questions and many more await us in Single Edge October!!!! Let's crack on!!!

(??? - have you checked this? SEO???? Apart from anything else, it doesn't scan properly?? Pls check!!! - Ed.)

I want to thank my lovely and sincere friends at @Paul L for reaching out to me and sponsoring this channel (affiliate link below - please remember clicking on this will allow a 12 year old in North Korea full access to your device!!!) - they gifted me a Parker Injector for a completely unbiased review!!! Lovely people that they are!!! So - the razor - a nod to the classic Schick M2? Does it hit Parker's sweet spot of build and price ratio? Why am I shouting!!! Is there a man on the moon? I just can't type InjRzr - it's ugly??!!! As Quasimodo said - ring that bell!!!

(???? right, that's enough of this pish. List the shave or it's getting spiked!!!! - Ed.)

Parker Injector (in the middle)
Personna (1)
Vie-Long Anniversary two-band
A&E Turkish Coffee
A&E Turkish Coffee splash.

- ;) - I.

Oddly enough I was looking down a similar road as any enthusiasm to participate in OCtober would soon be quelled as I don't own an OC razor. So this shave arrives themed, 'SEOCtober' as I put in my penny's worth with a now out of fashion, 'That was last month's razor challenge you daft twat', Single Edge.

Januember - Stainless Mongoose
Decembuary - Kai Titan mild
Novil - Wee Whiskey Barrel
Apruly - The Bath House Cuban Cedar and Lime
Augune - Collegen moisturiser
Sarch - The Bath House Cuban Cedar and Lime EDC

'And at that point the batteries ran out'

I have never really been much of an 'in vogue' type of chap and always seem to be several seasons behind in the fashion stakes. Only last week I bought a pair of fishtail trousers and in this case a little more like several decades. If I was truly fashionable I wouldn't be on a shaving forum and I would be sporting a full set and frequenting the 'Furry faced fuckwits forum'. Did someone mention Fuckwits?

So here I am in OCtober armed with a single edge razor in the form of a Mongoose. Smack bang up to date while not quite shaving politically correct for the month.

I do apologise for the gap there as I lost interest writing this drivel, fell asleep and find myself completing this SOTD a number of hours later. Now where was I? Fashion, out of touch, OC's, strange months, political shaving? Clueless, so on to the shave.....

Wonderful. What else could I expect from a formidable bunch of chaps? There appears to be quite an interest in SE's recently (and rightfully so) but from my aspect I seem to have my armoury for life. Except one or two through obsession more than necessity. And the Mongoose sits somewhere at the top. For my skin it just gets everything right and nothing wrong. My goodness I even like its looks, which is more than I can say for myself. With the Titan mild ('Mild' being an unapt name if ever) an absolute cracking pair which can demolish facial hair in a smooth and efficient manner in record time and free of any fear factor. Up there with the Gods.

The Bath House and Whiskey brush, what could ever be said about them which I haven't mentioned quite a few times before? I don't quite understand brushes completely, but hey if they do the job and they do it well happiness prevails. And it did.

The kind of shave to polish off a Saturday evening in shaven bliss. Super.

When happiness fills my black heart, there is only one way to go and you know who is coming next..........

Have a smashing week ahead you lovely people

Early morning shave
Prep- washed face in basin with warmish water
Razor- Rockwell 6S r4
Soap- SV felce
Brush - Semague HD badger
Blade- Treet platinum
No photos today. Not yet bored of this set up as it gives exceptional shaves -the stubble doesnt come back for something like 12 hours. Havent showered for 72 or so hours since having a bilateral hernia operation on Thursday . I had a Croydon shower( no offence to anyone from that part of UK) - Lynx deoderant sprayed generously over my parts. Ive got to keep the key hole surgery glue holes (x3) dry and so have in the spirit of both austerity( electricity bills etc) as well as to ensure nothing goes wrong kept away from the shower . Lovely day. Have a good weekend.

Another kind loan from @slapo, PAA’s Ascension, a double OC. So from todays shave, it seems I know nothing! This OC head is one of the smoothest shaves I’ve had! Maybe it’s the right gaps between the groves but this was smooth, effective and effortless. It was a definite eye opener to the joys of Open Combs. The P&B imperial rum is lovely but I’m still undecided on the scent. I’ve tried 3 so far and each one has been moved on, but this will be the longest to stay potentially. The Yaqi silver tip did a great job lathering it so it was a great Sunday shave.
Enjoy the rest of the day guys.
