After 3 consecutive Shaves with the Schick O clone, just had to be the PAL Injecto-Matic. Thought I might be able to establish which was best. The PAL is more aggressive, but the finished Shave quality with both of them is about the same.

Obviously there is a difference in the way they feel in the hand when shaving, due the difference in length. However, I find both of them easy use so in future will just enjoy using them rather than saying which is my favourite.

Shaving recipe for today. (Remembrance sunday Shave)


Prep: Hot shower:/Wrights Cold Tar Soap Body Wash & Vosene Shampoo.

Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.

Wilkinsons Fruits~ Coconut & Vanilla Body Butter.

Brush: Wilkinson Sword.

Face Lather.

Soap : Palmolive Shave Stick .

Blade: Gillette 7o' Clock sharpEdge . (2)

Razor: Manlystuff ~ The Knight MN-202.

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Post:

Alum Block./Boots ~ Freshwood Aftershave/ Boots ~ Freshwood Aftershave Balm.

A nice relaxing 3 pass + pick ups sunday morning shave with no errors to report.

The sharp smoothness of the 7o'Clock SharpEdge blade was another great match for the non-aggressive knight razor, which made this remembrance Sunday shave very pleasurable.

Finishing the shave off with the Boots Freshwood Aftershave & Balm duo.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling very devine.

Enjoy this special sunday,ladies & gentlemen in remembrance to our fallen courageous heroes of the horrific wars past & present.

Great fun shaving with the Rolls. Not the closest shave today, though using the Rolls is somehow therapeutic. Topped off with the very addictive 4711.
A great start to this very important Sunday.

I acquired the razor and handle at a very generous price from James aka @Acer89. He also included a box full of lovely goodies as freebies. What a gent! I have never used a razor with such heft. So making sure that I let the weight of the razor do the work, and relying on the fantastic cushioning provided by the Tabac, I set to work. The result was a very comfortable, and extremely close shave in two passes. Only very minimal touch-ups were required. So it's fair to say that I am delighted with the ‘Goose'. An additional bonus was the fact that, as my Mrs is out and about for most of the day, I could go full throttle on the Tabac.
