Rockwell 6S

Phoenix and Beau Solaris
Thayers Rose, Nivea Balm & Old Spice Whitewater

Tried the Rockwell at setting 4, a clean shave albeit a tad aggressive for my tastes, could be the setting but I would imagine the blade contributed a lot too. Not many more uses of the soap or aftershave left. Hopefully finish both in another two uses.

Dunhill Fresh Aftershave

I'm really impressed with this inexpensive brush. I've used it three times from new and it gets better with each use.
It still has some residual funky animal smell but it's dying down.
It holds copious amounts of lather and releases it readily.
Meissner Dark Limes soap is outstanding. Easy to lather and smells divine.
Finished with Dunhill Fresh. This is a very good performing aftershave and smells good too.

Evening shave.

Lucky Tiger Face Scrub

Polsilver SI (3)
Thayers Witch Hazel (unscented)
Myrsol Blue Aftershave

It's been quite a while since I have used the LPL soap and today's shave reminded me why. A perfectly useable lather, and indeed, it was a very good shave. But I had to work the brush for what seemed like an age before I could put blade to face. Perhaps I overworked the soap. Anyway, I will try a different method next time. I'm sure it's user error. On the plus side, the razor is really rather good!

Evening gentlemen,
Sorry about infrequent posts lately, but health stuff is hampering play.
Anyway, very pleasant shave this evening, the Glastonbury smelt great, not a single weeper or cut.
Very satisfactory finish too.

What you said about the Dark Limes - one of my favourites. I have another two or three MT pastes and none of them are less than excellent. Complex scents, they lather like a dream, super slick and superb post shave feel. Which is pretty much all you want from a soap? Dark Limes - then Myrsol Agua de Limon - Gomez Barberia moisturiser - finished with Dior Sauvage is a favourite set up for me. Lime witch hazel - never heard mention of that before - that sounds intriguing. Yours - I.

Hi Iain

I mix the witch hazel myself with Lime Essential Oil.
I use out 20 or so drops to 100ml witch hazel
I find it refreshing and cooling
