image.jpg ~SOTD~ Sunday 19th November

Prep ~ face wash, Birch tar soap
Razor ~ Blackland Sabre - Level Two
Blade ~ Gem SS fresh blade
Soap ~ Natural Ireland ~ Seaweed
Brush ~ BSSW ~ Gonzo Silvertip
Post ~ BBA PSB
Scent ~ Christian Dior ~ Oud Ispahan

A fabulous Sunday morning shave, day five with the level two base plate and I have been enjoying the closeness of the shaves and can not find anything negative to report.
The wonderful seaweed scent from the Natural Ireland soap reminds me of walks along the beach and is a great performer to boot, with a thick creamy lather with plenty of slip N slide.
A spray here and there of the superb Oud Ispahan and I'm clean shaven and smelling great.

Wishing you all a relaxing Sunday......:) P.

Blade: Proline #4
Razor: Feather SS (on loan @culcreuch )
rush: Semogue Boar
Soap: Mikes Natural Soap
Post: Thayers Witch Hazel
EDT L'Occitane Cade

A trouble free two pass shave with a few touch ups around the neck area left me feeling smooth and relaxed.

Excellent soap and brush combo.

Enjoy your Sunday. :)
Great pic Wayne, have a lovely day :) P.

Sunday...

Soap - Wickham's 1912 Cashmere
Brush - Semogue 2000
Face lather
Razor - Ever Ready 1912 (England)
Blade - Gem SS
Post - Thayer's Rose Petal and Aloe Vera
After shave - Wickham's 1912 Cashmere

A nice relaxed Sunday shave. Although I'm a synth convert, I enjoy using the boars from time to time.

The combination of 1912 soap and razor, with a fresh blade, produced a smooth result and a great post shave feel. The 1912 after shave splash finished it off nicely.

Fancied a spicy Sunday, and after yesterdays disappointing lather, this was a huge improvement. My Sunday couldn't have got off to a better start.
@Digimonkey, I of course use the Petrometer Scale of Smoothness, and this came in at a whopping 98 Petrifs, the equivalent of a piece of basalt being washed by the waters of Victoria Falls for 200 thousand years.

I think @Boru62 has upped the ante there @Digimonkey.

Morning shave.

Baxters of California Face Wash, BBA Shave Oil.
Lea Shaving Cream.
Semogue 1305 Boar.
Little Wren Pottery.
Rockwell 6C (plate 4).
Gillette Silver Blue (1).
Fine Green Vetiver Aftershave.
BBA Post Shave Balm.
Czech and Speake Vetiver Vert.

It feels like an age since I last used a DE razor, but it's probably only a couple of weeks. I can always rely on the 6C to provide a smooth, close shave. Enjoy your Sunday chaps.

PRE - Shower + Almond oil

SOAP - Razorock Irish Countryside

BRUSH - SOC boar

RAZOR - Gillette Fatboy (Razor Emporium)

BLADE - Feather

POST - Almond oil + Irish Countryside AS

Another fantastic shave from this setup. Razorock can do no wrong in my opinion. The performance and scent is above what you pay for.
Almond oil gives back what the blade took away leaving supple skin while the AS seals it all in and giving a lovely scent at the same time.
