Thanks to Excel, I dug this soap out of the back of the draw. Still performing well, maybe not as slick as some of the others I have, but certainly no complaints. Very pleasant smell wafting about the place.

Tech with Nacet still going strong.

Got to get back to my meeting as I'm bound to have a speaking part soon!

How did the Nodachi perform with the Feather blade? Spectacularly. A wonderful SV lather and the Nodachi was virtually singing through the two passes. There was no sense of danger and yet it was a very efficient shave. Good stuff.

Pre - Pears Transparent Face Wash
Brush - Simpson Duke 3 Best Badger
Soap - 1912 Irish Fern
Razor - Rex Ambassador #2.5, #2
Blade - Wizamet Super Iridium
Post - Cold water Rinse, TC's infused Witch Hazel

A single "targeted" pass on #2.5 then some touch up on #2 was all that was required for a smooth, comfortable, squeaky clean finish.
Stay safe and enjoy your day all.

A high and low shave today. High end was the Feather ASD2 and low end, the Arko soap. I’m only referring to cost, not performance, as the Arko is great and costs I think only £4.

I don’t know exactly as a millionaire friend of mine (true fact) gave it to me as a Christmas present. You can now see why he has more money than I do… ;)

Anyway, the Semogue lathered the Arko and the Feather combo took it off with ease. I used the Apsley Balm sample from T&H and it was very cooling and soothing. As with the cologne sample, it smells uncannily like Terre d’Hermes. This is not a bad thing!

Stay safe and enjoy your shaves!

Razor: Feather ASD2
Blade: Feather (3)
Soap: Arko
Brush: Semogue 830
Pre-shave: Water
Post-shave: Truefitt & Hill Apsley Balm

The SC soap is the best rose-scented soap I have ever used. And the blade remains smooth and sharp, so I'll probably stretch its use a few more days.

Well I’ve managed the impossible, I’ve made the ATT G1 bite. I’ve no idea how, I was pushing the angle to try and get a slightly more efficient shave, hit a bit of a blemish and then the blood flowed! I probably won’t be able to ever recreate it but I’ll try again tomorrow! The TOBS lime zest is a strong, powerfully zesty scent but I found the post shave feel a little dry.
Hopefully tomorrow will be less eventful!
