Tuesday 9th December

Gillette ABC Gold Shell pattern (1914)

Jeez Brian, I can't believe the condition of that seldom seen razor.

I have the more common fluted silver version in just good but not great shape. Heh, doesn't matter since I never use any sort of Old Type head. Luckily you seem to have no problem with aggressive razors. I saw you even shaved with your New Deluxe a while back.

Nice little weapon in your arsenal,

Martin

Tuesday

Evening, everyone.

Prep: Claus Porto's Lime-oil face soap
Razor: Lord L5
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (4)
Brush: Kabuki Bamboo
Shave cream: Super Max classic
Aftershave: Hai Karate
Cologne:

Used a Kai mild blade for a close but irritation-free shave. I usually prefer a more aggressive Feather Pro but this worked very nicely today, the Jabonman was, as always, top-notch. Finished off with Myrsol Emulsion and then some extra moisturiser as it's getting cold.

Soap: Cella
Razor: Gillette Super Speed
Blade: Lord
Brush: Custom 400 Boar
EDT: Givenchy Blue Label

After my dismay at D R Harris soap I thought I would go for a safe shave set up tonight. Been feeling a little low today, (winter blues) and a good shave was what was needed for a pick me up. Palm lathered, transferred to face for two passes. I had been saving the last of my bottle of Givenchy Blue Label for a special occasion, nothing more special than lifting my spirits. Feeling super fresh and youthfully dapper again.

Have a good evening Gents. :D

Mike, your avatar brought a smile to my face too, looks good. :D

Love the handle Mike.

Wed 10 December.

Neutrogena Glycerine Bar
Lea Menthol Cream
Victoria Pure Bristle { from 70`a }
ER 1912
Gem {1 }
Myrsol Antisol

After a break from SE shaving, went back to 1912 after trying other acquisitions.
It is so easy to use and very kind to the skin, no need for Alum !

Now confused as to what is my favourite, think the 1914 is perhaps the one,but needs
care and is suited to a leisurely shave.

Greetings
