The return of 'slow'

Not noticed any slowdown but then what's left of my brain operates on different plane.....

New site is ruddy marvellous but it's the members who make it - you know who you are!

Enquiries by the admins reveal that a number of background processes on our server had, wrongly, fallen into the same time slot, resulting in a period of poor performance. This is being addressed.

I think the slowndown only lasted a few hours or so - all seems to be back to its snappy self

Yup. From early hours Sunday to mid-morning roughly. If the techs are as good as their word, the unfortunate co-incidence should not arise again.
