Turkish Lemon Cologne

Just wanted to go on record to thank KRF1963 who went out of his way to locate and then to send me 2 bottles of "Duru" Cologne from a Turkish Barber in his area. I have been unable to find a local supplier in West Wales. What a great forum this is with the most helpful people involved!!

Try Amazon. They have Selin Lemon Cologne from Turkey and sell Arko shaving soap sticks. In fact they have packs including a DE razor, Derby (Turkish) blades, Arko soap, Boar bristle shaving brush for that genuine Turkish shaving experience. Not sure about you but I didn't care for the Meths soaked Cotton bud torch treatment for the hairs in my ears nor the 'threading' on my eyebrows..........

That's online shop is down my way, haven't come across that site before, but it has some of the cheapest prices i've ever seen very good.

The Turkish barber in York sells lemon cologne. Was £5 a bottle when I bought my Duru. Can look this week if you wish.

I'm stepping in a bit late ;)

Arko Adventure aftershave has a stroooong citrus scent! Far too strong and persistent for my taste. However, I put a few ml in an almost full bottle of Sanex aftershave balm (Nivea would do as well, I think), and that seems to be a great mix.
 
Sorry to bump an old thread. But i was was looking for a lemon cologne and found this kartopu lemin cologne for £2.50 that i bought on http://www.bakkalim.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=62&product_id=1863 .
 
When I was in Turkey about 18 years ago they used that stuff in restaurants. After you've finished your meal (seafood mainly) they would splash some on your hands.

Just ordered some! That was a naughty bit of enabling. Oh well, it's a scent that I can live with that is quite good to have around. Beside at 400ml that is tonnes of the stuff!

They still do that as far as I am aware. They don't always splash hands with cologne per se, but they do give out wet towels quite a bit (often these are wrapped up or packaged in foil).

Thats what i thought 400ml for only £2.50 is cheap hopefully should turn up tomorrow :)
