What are you reading at the moment?

Getting to grips with a Dance With Dragons. Really enjoyed this series of books, except the first half of book 4).

About another 700 pages to go and that's it all done.

I've just bought Flashman to read next after a bloke at work was telling me all about it in the pub last Friday.

Seven Aubrey/Maturin books completed. So decided to spend a bit of time on dry land before sailing off again.:icon_razz:

I'm just reading a book by a new Scottish author, Joanne Rowling. It's meant to be a kids book but this Harry Potter character is really likeable and the wiring is very crisp.

Honestly, I've just got around to reading the Philosopher's Stone!

Just finished Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh. I read the two related books in the wrong order, starting with Porno which is the follow up, then Skagboys, which is the prequel.
As it's been ages since I saw the movie I thought that I'd better complete the set.
I'm not really a big reader so it's unusual for me to find a book unputdownable, but I really enjoyed these books.

Glad that they're finished though as I'm finding myself developing an Edinburgh accent likesay eh.

Atlantis by Edgar Cayce. Quite interesting although can be slow going due to the fact it was written down while he was talking from a "trance" like state.

Hi Fido having read these would you suggest i start reading them in publication date order or chronological date order?

Saw the movie and liked if a lot, so reading the books should be fun.

Thanks
