Time to resurrect this old thread, as we've lost a few pics / details of some class pens since 'the change'...









I particularly love this Pilot Capless fountain pen with its unique retractable nib, just like a ballpoint.

Carbonesque - read looks like carbon fibre - with rhodium-plated trim and rhodium-plated 18k 750 gold nib, it writes as smooth as silk. Another truly wonderful pen.

To be perfectly honest: Uni-ball Signo 207. Black ink 0.7mm ball.

A very nice grippy pen, however if the paper you are writing on is 'constipated' (lacking fibre i.e. smooth), it does have a bad habit of skipping. I sat in an exam in June with 3 of these pens and an old Staedler, very nearly a disaster as the exam paper paper was smoother than Izal bog-roll!
