Yeah, agree. I wouldn't say it's "soon" - as I only started with wet shaving last summer, to me it seemed like this is one of the last tallow holdouts (other than small producers, artisans, and of course the Turks).

Hope it’s not terrible. Looked on Mitchell’s website and absolutely no mention of an ingredient change. Clicking on the shaving soap the stock pictures still list tallow as the first ingredient. Bit naughty of them and looks like they’re hoping nobody would notice.
I will wait with baited breath, since I am new to the brethren of the fat.

I think you might have hit the nail on the head.Fuuuck, the most slippery foamy skin prepping soap has went to the dark side. Maybe that's what happened with the bad batches a while back. Testing the mix. Bugger. Back to my stash of Palmolive soap and cream, and Arko and TOBS and a box full of others. Yea I won't run out of decent soap.
