Wilkinson Sword Brush

I used to use this brush in the 1990s with WS Classic Razor, English made WS blades, and the soap in a bowl. The soap was mediocre but I thought the brush was modern for a shaving brush and I really liked it. I may look out for the synthetic version if it's still made.

In fact, I've just had a look at the Wilkinson Sword website, and it shows a picture of someone shaving with a white handled shaving brush, not the black handled WS brush.

Cheap enough to rip apart and re-handle for a "trial run"

Steve

I have just received an e-mail from Wilkinson Sword about their shaving brushes, and they say they are made of synthetic bristle, and have no animal products in them.

How can you tell if its synthetic or boar.

I have a wilkinson sword brush with a black plastic ring around the knot and have seen tgem with a silver ring around the knot.

Thats interesting. I had a shower and shave last night using this wilko brush and just checked it there now this morning and its still damp.

I guess boar it is.

Thanks.
