Paired my Merkur 500 adjustable today with a BIC blade. I had not used one of these previously but I trust the company that manufacture cheap biros. I set it on level 2.5 but soon put back to 1.5 as it felt just a tad too close for comfort. I dread to think what facial damage a setting on 5+ might deliver  . It could probably strip bark from a tree with ease at that level.
However, a gentle two passes delivered a dfs finish and no real drama, thanks for asking.
Have an enjoyable start to another week fellas!

Razor: Blackland Osprey (5,5,4)
Blade: GSB (1)
Brush: Wald A1
Soap: Noble Otter King
Splash: Noble Otter King

The osprey arrived today having flown under the radar and thankfully no import fees...
It went straight into service and the results were... good. It'll probably take a few more shaves to dial in but I'm quite happy so far...

King is a lovely grapefruity chypre too...

Pleasant shaves to all!

A very pleasant, very comfortable two pass shave. The EJ travel brush feels rather utilitarian but it created a good rich lather with just a tiny amount of Speick cream and the EJ razor fitted with a new Feather had no problems at all in the shave. I finished my shave with a squirt of Dior Sauvage.

Pre - Droyt's Vegetas Glycerine Soap
Brush - Erasmic AP Shave Co Gelousy Bulb 20mm

The build quality of the Tatara is up there with the best. The Masamune head i find easily efficient enough for me and it always delivers a top quality comfortable shave.
The Signature soap again produced a fantastic lather, built up on the chin and the brush held enough for my 3 pass shave.
Enjoy your day all.
