If this is suitable for face lathering I might have to get a PM sent out sharpish!

yes, this is the one we were referring to
this brush is an all-rounder actually, you won't regret trying it out or having it in your den
take a look at Fido's original thread when this brush came out

and yes, the 404 mix (as antdad said) is another good option

Thanks for all the replies guys. I've just took the plunge and bough simmos' slivertip, kills two birds with one stone as I wanted to try a silvertip too :shave

Vulfix 404 boar/barger mix
Semogue 1520 or 630
Omega 80625/10066
amigo, you got me confused now
630 or may be 620 is what you meant?

oh, and in order not to confuse the person who started the thread and was asking the question, it's Omega 80265, not 80625.
I did mean the Semogue 620.The 630 its an old model, and had badger and boar hair mixed. It seems that this model could be back to regular production soon (I hope so)

You will not regret it. I have the NF 2211 silver tip, it is a fantastic brush I use it to face lather with MWF.

Cheers for the replies guys.

Aww man, not in stock. Even £30 was pushing the boat out so probably for the best haha. My omega boar aint the softest, is a semogue boar going to be any gentler on the skin?

How does something like a commodore x1 fit in the scheme of things, would one of them be any good?

+1

This is my favourite brush.

Parwin, do you mean the commodore x1 is your favourite? I'm certainly tempted to try one if i get bored of my new brush!

New forest silvertip arrived this morn. It's even better than i expected. Made up with it!
