Lovely comfortable shave today. Liking the Voskhod in this razor. The Irisch moos cream is coming to an end. I have some different ones to bring out of my store when this is gone. Trying not to have too many opened at the same time :icon_rolleyes:

Very nice shave - I'm still not totally convinced as to what I think of the scent of Monsavon, but the performance is superb, and, for the price, it's incredible value.

Sometimes I forget just how old some of these razors are, a fabulous slice of 50s Americana, as for the Guitar? well that's a Gibson Les Paul, a Gold top.
By the time they got with the hum buckers that'll be in the 50s as well, about 1957. Sadly my one is only a 2008 but you can still trace the design to the 50s..... Far out man!

Been camping in the south of France for the last week with a Palmolive stick, the Muhle STF and the SS. Returned home today and drove up to North Wales - hence a late night shave. Popped a sample of DR Harris Eucalyptus cream in my travel kit and had a great shave with it: rich, lubricating and quite refreshing. I've steered away from British creams following patchy records with Taylor's and Trumper's but Harris may well be the way back in.

Made only yesterday. Roman Vase shape in Forest Flame resin, with 26mm extra dense silvertip badger
Razor: An old Geneva straight (Thanks to Mikael)
A/S: Van Cleef and Arpels Midnight in Paris. Such lovely stuff! And the scent lasts for more than 12 hours.

Result: Super, super clean BBS shave
