The General for me is a very easy razor to use and i always get fantastic comfortable shaves from it regardless of blade used.
That was a nice bit of early morning (Kitchen) sink time.
Enjoy your day all.

Sunday 15 September
Tatara Muramasa has to be one of the best engineered and manufactured adjustable de razors out there. It oozes quality and whilst to some the idea of stripping it down to clean thoroughly now and again is a bit of a pain, it is easy and I see it as just adding to the pleasure of the shaving experience.
In the words of Del Boy for me, this razor is very bonnet de douche or even crème de la menthe!-
Have a great Sunday fellas!

A super Sunday shave. A lovely lather from the Extro soap and Trafalgar brush, which I find to be somewhat more resilient than my Chubby 2 with nominally the same knot. The stainless Hawk v3 is a smooth and efficient razor, much better than the aluminium Hawk v2, which I found to be rough and a bit aggressive, but, maybe that was just my hand with a light aluminium razor. Either way, happy Sunday :).

SOTD September 15. 2024.

Razor - Blackland Sabre (3)
Blade - Personna Gem (2)
Soap - Geo.F.Trumper's Sandalwood shaving cream
Brush - Paladin PK-47 Blonde badger
Post - Thayer's Astringent

My second shave with the Sabre and what a shave it was!
I do like Gem bladed razors and this is now level pegging with the Ever-Ready Streamline which was once my all time favourite Gem bladed razor.
A smooth comfortable and enjoyable shave was had.

Until the next time, take care and enjoy your shaves! :)

Paul.
