Great start to the day as the smell of this soap transported me to somewhere sunny rather than the grey skies of the UK!
New brush which was a bit softer than I expected but worked really well with the soap & I like the length and feel of the handle
I liked the blade - again seemed to work really well with the old Gillette razor
Could really feel the alum especially around my jawline and under neck so may need to try a lower setting especially when going against the grain

I’m a non smoker and until i started this journey i wasn’t a fan of tobacco but being a thicko i didn’t realise tobacco & smoke are two different things.
Tobacco for me is one of the top scents in a soap,
Brings back memories of my dad shaving.
Iv had this soap 3.5 years now but still a bit to go before it’s done but it will be replaced.
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekends

Strange you wrote this as that's exactly my experience and was only thinking about breaking out my Cuban cigars and Cognac soap, it's my second favourite scent.
You are dead right about Tobacco and smoking not being the same thing.
Great post BTW I enjoyed reading it.

My Shave today consisted of...
Prep 3P Pre shavecream.
Brush Highlander LE2023 Boar.
Soap Stirling Black Ice.
Razor Blackland Vector Standard plate.
Blade Post shave 3P cream
Aftershave Stirling Black Ice splash.

Great shave, and at last the Stirling finally delivered, I got a lovely lather with the brilliant Highlander Boar and felt just a tad tingling, but it was there and showing signs of the Menthol coming through.
I can only guess everything sunk in the tub because it was in storage at the shop a while, perhaps?

The Vector was just brilliant, and I do sit here rubbing my face, wondering, is there anything that can shave any better for me? I really don't think there is tbh right now.

Cold wet flannel to my face.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Boar.
Face Lather.
Lather: Wilkinson Sword Shave Stick.
Blade: Treet Platinum. (D2)
Razor: Wilkinson Sword Premium TTO.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, /Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Blue Stratos ASL. / Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

Relaxing Sunday Morning Shave.

The WS shave stick is wonderful, it's surprising how much of a good lather you get from these sadly no longer available humble shave sticks.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)
